Project Hand in // Packaging Design

This is my final visual for the packaging design module, I am very unhappy with the way it looks. From my research into Phonica Records I found that their brand uses a lot of vector artwork so I tried to use Illustrator to produce the idea I was trying to execute, but my skills currently aren't up to scratch.
The idea behind my design was to combine the warm atmosphere they have in store with the formal brand you see online. From looking at pictures of inside the store I noticed the lights they had were quite interesting so the idea was to illustrate these digitally and apply them to the packaging.

This module has shown me that I need to start practicing my digital skills a lot more, as they are a necessity in the graphic design industry. I also need to be more organised and keep on top of my workflow at all times.
